Abstract

In this article we present an example of how complementary know-how can be acquired in the field of applied physical chemistry at the School of Engineering of Fribourg. The acquisition of such complementary competence – in our case it was applied rheology - is financed by the strategic reserve funds of the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland. As one of the different results of the project, which was sponsored for one year, we present a lab course experiment dealing with rheokinetics (polymerization of acrylamide).
